Channel Sales Manager - Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud

The ideal candidate will possess deep understanding of nonprofit operations and challenges, combined with expertise in Salesforce solutions, to effectively forge and cultivate partnerships that result in tangible benefits for nonprofits through digital transformation.

The Channel Sales Manager will spearhead initiatives to introduce and integrate Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud solutions across the nonprofit sector. This role demands proactive engagement with Salesforce teams, nonprofit organizations, and other relevant stakeholders to promote adoption and optimization of Salesforce technologies designed for nonprofit needs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic plans to effectively target and penetrate the nonprofit sector using Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud capabilities.
  • Build and maintain robust relationships with Salesforce representatives, including Account Executives (AE’s) and Regional Vice-Presidents (RVPs), nonprofit leaders, and other key industry players.
  • Strengthen Collaboration with Salesforce AEs and RVPs: Regularly meet with Salesforce Account Executives and Regional Vice Presidents to strengthen relationships and ensure dbServices is top of mind for referrals. Develop a consistent and strategic outreach program that keeps dbServices engaged with Salesforce teams across multiple regions.
  • Facilitate Referrals: Work closely with Salesforce AEs and RVPs to secure referrals for new business opportunities. Implement initiatives that encourage Salesforce representatives to see DB Services as the preferred partner for Nonprofit Cloud implementations.
  • Revenue Growth from Salesforce Channel: Develop and execute a clear, measurable strategy for year-over-year revenue growth from the Salesforce channel. Monitor performance metrics closely and adjust strategies as necessary to ensure continued growth and achievement of revenue targets.
  • Joint Business Planning: Collaborate with Salesforce AEs and RVPs to co-create business plans that align with mutual goals of penetrating the nonprofit market more deeply. Ensure these plans include defined roles, responsibilities, and benchmarks for success.
  • Salesforce Engagement Strategy: Create and maintain a detailed engagement strategy that ensures regular and productive interactions with Salesforce AEs and RVPs. This strategy should include regular updates on product developments, success stories, and joint customer engagements.
  • Understand and communicate the specific benefits of Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud features, including Constituent Management, Fundraising, Program Management, Case Management, and Outcome Management.
  • Organize and lead informational and promotional events that educate nonprofits on the advantages of Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud.
  • Coordinate with DB Services’ marketing and sales teams to ensure alignment in strategies and maximize impact in the nonprofit sector.
  • Facilitate the successful deployment and adoption of Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud solutions among new and existing nonprofit clients.
  • Stay updated on new Salesforce features and nonprofit sector trends to ensure that dbServices’ offerings remain relevant and competitive.
  • Manage sales pipeline, forecast sales figures, and achieve set sales targets specific to the nonprofit vertical.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years focused on the nonprofit sector.
  • Minimum of 2 years nonprofit industry experience.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth through strategic sales initiatives.
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce platforms and solutions, particularly Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of nonprofit operational needs and challenges, especially in relation to CRM systems and digital transformation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with executives and decision-makers.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or related field; but will consider experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to engage with clients and attend industry events.
  • Must reside in one of the following states: Indiana, Ohio, New York, Colorado, or Texas.
