FileMaker has announced that it will end support of the FileMaker 9 product family in 2012, marking the close of a chapter for organizations still running this version.
Effective September 27, 2012, all FileMaker 9 products will no longer be eligible for upgrades, technical support, replacement media, downgrade media, or downgrade license keys from FileMaker, Inc. After that date, businesses relying on FileMaker 9 will no longer have access to official support channels if issues arise.
If your organization is still on FileMaker 9, now is the time to start planning. Upgrades are available until September 27, 2012, either directly from FileMaker or through your preferred reseller.
