Summer is nearly here, and Salesforce's Summer '25 release update means there's more to look forward to than the sun and the beach. Whether you've been looking for super-powered flows, new ways to leverage Agentforce, or a powerful new analytics tool, this release has something for you. The future is bright, so put on your shades and sunscreen as we dive into some of our favorite release highlights!
Flows: Get Related Records Faster (Beta)
Are you tired of your flows getting flooded with Get Records elements so you can pull the related records you need into your flow? Well then, you'll be ecstatic about this new feature! You'll be able to get related records in one Get Records element by selecting the "Also add related records (beta)" checkbox. Related records in the Get Records element will be available in screen flows, autolaunched flows, and template-triggered prompt flows in Essentials, Pro Suite, Professional, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, Developer, and all Einstein 1 editions.
Development: Preview a Single Lightning Web Component Using Local Dev (Beta)
Sick of needing to deploy your Lightning Web Components to your org to be able to view them? This next feature is just the remedy for you! Once you have Local Dev installed, you will be able to preview your Lightning Web Component in real-time by running "sf lightning dev component" in the command line, then using the arrow keys to choose the component to preview. Your LWC will then open in a new single-component preview browser page.
When editing local files with Local Dev enabled, only the following changes to your LWC will be reflected automatically in the preview:
Basic HTML revisions
New reference to a component
Basic CSS revisions
Importing a new CSS-only component
JavaScript changes in component methods that don't affect the component's public API
Security: Building Single Sign-On Registration Handlers Without Code
Bogged down by having to write Apex to create registration handlers to set up an authentication provider? The new feature will lift you right up! You can now set a flow as the registration handler for your authentication providers. Even the process of creating the registration handler flow can be simplified by selecting the new Authentication Provider User Registration template (seen below) when starting the flow.

The template walks you through creating and updating users who log in to your org or Experience Cloud through a 3rd party identity provider. This template also includes 2 new invocable actions to help retrieve user info from the identity provider and ensure that user creation is successful through the creation of placeholder values for required fields. With this new feature, you can set up and maintain your authentication providers with clicks instead of code.
Flows can be used as registration handlers in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.
Mobile: Use Dynamic Related Lists on Mobile (Beta)
Are you missing your Dynamic Related Lists when using Salesforce on the go? That problem will be a thing of the past! Dynamic Related Lists had previously only been available for desktop record pages, but with this new feature, they will be available on mobile as well.

Analytics: Introducing Tableau Next
Want to take analytics in your Data Cloud org to the next level? Tableau Next combines Agentforce's context-aware AI and the Data Cloud semantic layer with the #1 analytics platform. Tableau Next enables you to create and share analytics assets without breaking a sweat.
With Tableau Next, you'll be able to:
Integrate data from different sources and ensure data integrity
Create metrics backed by semantic models to track and assess business performance
Level up your data visualization through dashboards with interactivity and enhanced data exploration
Share workspaces and assets with colleagues
And more!
Experience Cloud: Use Agentforce to Draft Text for Enhanced LWR Sites (Beta)
Looking to leverage generative AI to create and revise text block content on your LWR site? Then you'll be delighted with this change. You can now set up an Experience Builder Agent for LWR sites accessed through Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited editions with the Einstein for Sales, Einstein for Service, or Einstein Platform add-on. Give the agent a sense of your company's style by filling in the Brand Identity field in Experience Builder Settings. The agent will also be able to answer general questions about how to use Experience Builder based on Salesforce Help documentation.
Marketing Cloud: Enjoy More Control Over Campaigns and Flows
Wanting more freedom in your Marketing Cloud Growth or Advanced edition org? You'll find this new change liberating. You can now work on a campaign without having to select a quick start option. When you create a new campaign, you can select Build Your Own, select a flow type, and build the campaign as you go. You can also add messages and wait elements to flows that have five or fewer elements from the campaign itself. Lastly, you can send emails directly to leads or contacts that have opted in to receiving marketing messages from any lead or contact list view in the Marketing app.
Nonprofit Cloud: Volunteer Management
Volunteer management has finally arrived in NPC! The Volunteer Management data model will make managing volunteer initiatives, tracking volunteer hours, and reporting on volunteer metrics a breeze. Volunteer Management in Experience Cloud users can create a volunteer management portal to share volunteer opportunities and enable volunteers to browse and register for volunteer opportunities.
Education Cloud: Transform Student Recruitment with Agentforce for Education: Student Recruitment (Beta)
Wanting more out of your org with Education Cloud and Agentforce add-on? You'll be able to use new topics and actions in the Student Recruitment Agent to handle escalations, create Academic Interest records, register prospects for campus tours and events, and start the application process.
Sales Cloud: Leverage Email Data with Sync Email as Salesforce Activity
Wishing you could more easily analyze email captured by Einstein Activity Capture or use it to drive work processes? Once you Sync Email as Salesforce Activity in Einstein Activity Capture, email will be captured as activity data. From here, you can include email interaction in standard Salesforce reports and utilize email data in flows, triggers, and automation. Activity data can also be accessed through APIs. This has been a long time ask in the community and we're excited to be able to use standard reporting on automated emails from EAC.
Service Cloud: Improve Customer Engagement with Rich Text and Media in Case Comments (Beta)
Feeling limited by plain text in your Case Comments? Salesforce has heard your complaints and delivered. You will be able to use a rich text-supported field for Case Comments. In doing so, you will be able to format your comments to enhance readability, as well as include images and video for context. Keep in mind that once you enable rich text, there is no going back to plain text, as this feature cannot be disabled once enabled.
Commerce Cloud: Enhance Product Displays with Videos
Ready to further enrich information on product pages in B2B and D2C Commerce? You can now add some action to your product galleries by including videos. You can select from uploaded videos or link to videos hosted on other platforms. This change only applies to B2B Commerce and D2C Commerce in Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer editions.
Revenue Cloud: Accelerate Sales Cycles with a Conversational Quoting Agent
Is your sales team in the weeds with administrative burdens? Hack through those weeds with a Conversational Quoting Agent! Agentforce Quoting will respond to conversational prompts, making managing quotes using natural language a walk in the park for sales reps. Conversational Quoting Agent will be available in Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer editions of Salesforce where Revenue Cloud and Salesforce Foundations are enabled.
