Here's what you need to know to make the most of these new updates!

What's New

• Claris Studio and Claris Connect are available now to eligible customers through the Claris Customer Console or the Server Administrators Console for licenses associated with the Claris Partner Program, Claris resellers, or Site licenses. The license owner with an email tied to the purchase must set up access.

• All licensing now has tiers. This allows you to choose the plan that best suits you and your FileMaker solutions. 

Name Change

Cloud licensing has been updated with new names: Cloud Essentials is now Cloud Starter, and Cloud Standard is now Cloud Max. All licensing now offers two tiers—Starter and Max—to better suit your organization's needs. (Please note that pricing for these tiers is subject to change.)

Licensing Tiers

The new tiered licensing structure gives you access to the entire Claris platform- FileMaker Pro, Claris Studio, and Claris Connect. 

The Starter tier comes at no additional cost and includes:

• 5 Claris Connect integration flows

• 10 Claris Studio shared views

The Max tier is free through September 8th, 2025, and includes:

• 50 Claris Connect integration flows

• Unlimited Claris Studio shared views

Before purchasing, you need to identify which hosting option—FileMaker Server or FileMaker Cloud—best suits your organization and select the tier within that option that aligns with your specific needs.

Existing Claris Studio and Claris Connect Licenses

• Your current Claris Studio organization will remain available in your Claris Studio Console.

• Your current Claris Connect license (free or paid) is no longer available, but is now available for eligible licenses.

  • Your flows can be migrated to your eligible license.

• The Problem Solvers Circle license is no longer available for purchase.
