Every quarter, DB Services turns customer feedback into a donation for a nonprofit through our Surveys for Success program. For every survey our Claris FileMaker and Web Dev customers complete, we donate to a charity that does real work in our community. This quarter, that charity is The Indianapolis Foundation, and the timing matters. Central Indiana saw severe flooding this year, with neighborhoods like Ravenswood and Rocky Ripple facing rising water that damaged homes and displaced families. We wanted our quarterly giving to meet the moment.
The Indianapolis Foundation launched a Flood Relief Fund to respond directly to that need. The fund puts 100% of every dollar toward flood recovery, split between two priorities: meeting urgent needs right now and supporting the slower work of rebuilding over the coming months. Immediate relief gets attention fast, but recovery from a flood doesn't end when the water recedes. Families are still dealing with damaged homes, lost belongings, and disrupted routines long after the news coverage moves on.
What we appreciate about The Indianapolis Foundation's approach is how they connect donors to organizations already doing the on-the-ground work, rather than trying to run relief efforts themselves. That means contributions move efficiently to the people who need them, whether that's emergency shelter, cleanup supplies, or help navigating the months of recovery ahead. For neighbors in Ravenswood, Rocky Ripple, and across Marion County, that support makes a real difference in how quickly life gets back to normal.
None of this happens without our clients. Every survey response tells us how we're doing and gives us a reason to give back. If you're a DB Services customer, keep an eye out for your next survey and take a few minutes to complete it. It helps us improve how we work with you, and this quarter, it helps a neighbor in Indianapolis rebuild after the flood.
