Today, more than 47 million people in the United States, including 13 million children, face food insecurity, a challenge that continues to grow amid ongoing economic uncertainty. Hunger touches every community, from urban centers to rural towns, often affecting families who never expected to need help. Through a nationwide network of food banks, partners, and volunteers, Feeding America works tirelessly to rescue food, strengthen local food systems, and ensure nutritious meals reach those who need them most. As the need continues to rise, their work has never been more vital.

Feeding America collaborates with food banks nationwide to rescue, store, and distribute food to their local communities. Last year, the Feeding America network distributed 5.7 billion meals through programs like mobile pantries and Kids Cafes. They are also one of the nation’s largest disaster relief organizations, responding quickly to help communities recover during times of crisis.
